Serra Orrios

Description

The archaeological site of Serra Orrios dates to the Bronze Age (1600 to 600 BCE).
The settlement is made up of numerous structures, including forty-nine huts with annexed spaces and rooms for animals; two megaron temples (Temple A and Temple B) with an enclosure; two megalithic tombs, one of which is a Giants’ Tomb and the other is of an unclear type.

Numerous archaeological finds were discovered inside the village, including decorated pottery, weapons, bronze tools and everyday objects. These finds attest to the everyday life of the nuraghic community and the skills of its artisans.
