The museum is divided chronologically into three rooms, beginning with stone materials and pottery from the Neolithic and the nuraghic age, bronze objects and glass paste necklaces from the Punic and Roman periods.

Next come Roman and late-Roman finds, amphorae from the Gulf of Orosei and Punic and Roman coins. Last are late-antique Amphorae, medieval pottery and nineteenth- and twentieth-century objects produced in Dorgali.
