Description
MATer is housed in the former residence of one of the town’s aristocratic families, the Golosio.
The museum is devoted to preserving local cultural and emotional heritage under constant threat from modernity, which is creating a new world for the community of Mamoiada.
The multimedia and interactive visitors’ path, designed by Studio Azzurro, extends across three thematic rooms. The first is devoted to the Mamoiada area’s rich archaeological heritage; the second focuses on narrating local experiences; the third offers a modern sensory experience, combining history and technology.
