Description
BittiRex – the most amazing dinosaurs in Italy have come to Sardinia, offering an exciting trip back in time to prehistory to discover the colossal dinosaurs who dominated the Mesozoic.
BittiRex’s educational programme for schools has specific, differentiated content designed for preschool/kindergarten, primary school and secondary school students.
Students are introduced to the basic concepts of palaeontology, like fossilisation, stratigraphy and dating methods, with a focus on Sardinian fossils.
They participate in workshops for creating fossil imprints out of plaster and plasticine.
Then the museum visit continues with the ‘discovery’ of the life-size reconstructions of dinosaurs and other prehistorical animals.
