Sa Bovida, Spanish Prisons
Description
The Spanish prisons “Sa Bovida,” located in the historic center amidst traditional mountain homes, were built from schist stone and wood and date back to the 16th century. They document life in a prison environment from past centuries up until the mid-20th century.
The building hosts the permanent exhibition “Bruxas,” focusing on Magic and Witchcraft in Sardinia between the 16th and 17th centuries, establishing itself as a true specialized museum in this field.
